Petra Baader has been leading BAADER as Executive Chairwoman since 1995. Under her leadership, the company has expanded into the fish and poultry business and successfully established BAADER as a leading provider of food processing solutions. Petra Baader has been honorary consul for Norway since 1996 and has been awarded the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit ‘Knight First-Class’. Petra Baader also sits on the advisory board of several international companies.

Torsten Krausen has been a Managing Director at BAADER since 2009. His background in private equity and corporate finance contributes to the company’s continued solidity. He oversees Finance, Legal, IT, Purchasing and Mergers & Acquisitions. Knowing how to combine his numerical approach with his visionary leadership, he is a trusted partner both for financial stakeholders and BAADER colleagues from all business areas.

Matthias Hoffmann joined BAADER as Chief Technology Officer in January 2025. A graduate mechanical engineer with extensive international leadership experience. His expertise includes optimizing global production processes, lean operations, and quality management. As a native of Lübeck, he will strategically advance BAADER’s global production facilities, fostering synergies and strengthening the company’s technological leadership. Focused on viable growth, Matthias Hoffmann embodies BAADER’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

Robert Focke has held a management position at BAADER since 1998. Prior to being announced Managing Director, he was Head of Human Resources and Commercial Director. Next to his dedication to the business of offering fish processing solutions, he is voluntarily engaged as Vice President of the Northern German employer association and serves as an honorary judge at the State Labour Court.

Nils Kuehnel, a Master of Engineering and PMP, brings over 20 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and business leadership across industries such as maritime, oil & gas, and food processing technology. He has been with BAADER for over 7 years, currently serving as Managing Director and CTO of the Business Unit Fish since June 2024, where he leads innovation and drives growth in fish processing technologies. His expertise spans project management, R&D, and service management.

Dennis Schreiber has been with BAADER for two decades, currently serving as CSO & Managing Director Fish since June 2024. His extensive career with the company includes roles as Chief Sales Officer and Vice President Sales and Service, where he played a key part in driving growth and innovation. Dennis has also held leadership positions in BAADER North America and BAADER SI Pty Ltd, bringing global expertise and a results-driven approach to the organisation.

Dr Norbert Engberg studied Mathematics and Economics in Hamburg. Before joining BAADER in 2019, he worked as a Managing Director in the food industry. He merged and reorganized companies, built up sales structures and implemented brands. Furthermore, he focused on efficiency and innovation in production. Being responsible for food processing teaches many perspectives. Dr Norbert Engberg has now found his passion in bringing his knowledge to solution development at BAADER.
