Customized solution for chilling and bleeding

Flow and Temperature Control throughout the Plant

The BAADER 1750 Spiral Chilling Tanks are specially designed for various applications inside the processing facility. This can include bleed-out and chilling after the BAADER 101 Harvesting Solution or as chilling and buffer tanks in front of the gutting and filleting operations.

An automated, smart outfeed system increases the precision of raw material flow into the subsequent processing steps.

The robust stainless steel design has been designed with hygiene and simple operation in mind to keep the facility in continuous operation.

The filling of the individual chambers of the tank can be based either on weight or count, depending upon the processing set-up. Tank utilization of up to 60% filling with fish is possible without affecting cooling performance.

Tanks of larger volume or diameter can be equipped with an air boost system to keep the raw material in motion and provide improved chilling.

B’Logic® Process Navigator flow – Tank is our dedicated software solution for performance monitoring and control.

    10 to 125 m³
  • Throughput
    Up to 200+ fish/min.

Process control

  • Buffer tank between different processing stages allows for an even and precise material flow through the facility (e.g. between stunning, gutting or filleting)

Advanced electronic control

  • Monitoring of water temperature in/out
  • Real-time logging of raw material flow through the system
  • Intelligent in- and outfeed system with automated feeding of material to subsequent processes
  • User-friendly software system

Harvest efficiency

  • Optional swim-in system with automatically controlled gate system ensures separation of fish into the stun and bleed units
  • Automatic positioning of stunning and bleeding tools for a large range of fish sizes

Automatic processing with swim-in system

  • Reduced labour costs through fewer operators
  • The fish has no contact with humans
  • The salmon orientates against the current and swims into the processing area by following its instincts
