Large size range

• For all circular knives from 90–400mm in diameter – especially for sharpening the knives of the BAADER 176. Sharpening of all conventional handheld knives is also possible.

Gentle treatment

• The BAADER 62 uses the lapping method, which ensures an extremely gentle treatment of the material while achieving the highest efficiency. Very little material is removed from the knife-edge.

Longer service life of the knives

• The gentle treatment of the material and the fact that the sharpened knives are completely free from any burrs result in a considerably longer service life.

High efficiency

• The BAADER 62 is designed both for resharpened knives and for providing extremely worn blunt knives with exact chamfers again.

Easy to adjust

• Assisted by a scale indicating the various diameters, the knife carrier is easily adjustable to the exact height by means of a spindle. For grinding precise inner chamfers, the speed of the individual sharpening wheels is continuously adjustable by means of a potentiometer control knob.

Easy to use

• The knife to be sharpened is motor driven. The time required for sharpening the knives can be preset. The machine stops automatically as soon as the preset time has elapsed.

Easy to maintain

• Any wear on the sharpening wheel can be compensated by its adjusting facility to obtain the correct angle. An included setting gauge can be used for the adjustment of the sharpening wheels to achieve the required chamfer angle.
