Innovative set-up for smart and gentle handling of fish

Full Flexibility and Traceability

Fillets are the most valuable part of the fish and need to be handled with care during processing in order to optimize hygienic packaging.

At this point of the filleting line, we need to have data to make smart and objective decisions. The fillet inspector is the machine to scan and inspect every fillet to get exactly that data. By having this machine in place, we get information on the physical dimensions, on the color, on melanin spots, gaping and skin wounds. The gained data is used upstream to rate your raw material that you either received from your supplier or from your growing process. The fillet inspector has been developed with a clear focus on specific customer demands for fully integrated solutions. Therefore, this data is also used downstream for smart packing or distribution.

Reduced fillet handling and gentle transport into boxes ensure that the highest product quality and hygiene standards are maintained. A combination of BAADER 1860 Fillet Inspector, BAADER 1850 Fillet Packing Grader and the bag placing machine provided by their partner Niverplast, this solution allows up for complete automation of the packing process.
